Hello Artists! Rivertown’s annual President’s Invitational Exhibit will begin Saturday, Dec 2^nd, 2023 with the Holiday Potluck. Bring your art to the Wyoming Library at 10am.  The potluck and art exchange will begin between 11:30 and noon. All Rivertown Artists Guild members, past and present, (juried or not juried) are invited to display their art at the 2023 President’s Invitational Art Exhibit, to be held December through March 2nd, 2024 at the Wyoming Public Library Gallery.  All types of hang-able art will be accepted.  This is an exciting event, the gallery is a good size and we like to have as much art as we can get. Artworks must be presented ready to hang using wire, not sawtooth. ·        Theme: “LIGHT AND SHADOW” ·        Hanging day is Saturday, December 2^ND at 10 AM, then stay for the Holiday Party. ·        Up to three works allowed per artist. ·        Fee is $5 per artist. ·        Also, bring a dish to pass for the potluck. *     Please send label information for each art piece by replying to this email. ·        The public (and fellow artists) will be encouraged to vote for their favorites – People’s Choice. ·        People’s Choice awards will be given out at the March 21^ST  2024 meeting. ·        Take Down will be Saturday, March 2^ND  at 10 AM. ·        Gift Exchange – As is customary and beloved, we will be exchanging our art during the Holiday party.  Bring an original artwork for exchange 5x7 matted to 8x10.  This year, do not gift wrap your exchange art.  We will be laying them out on the stage for all to view, then we will draw numbers to randomly distribute as gifts to each other.  So, those who bring one will go home with one.
