Hello Artists!

The May program will feature Adam Bock.  Adam is a visual and performing artist located in Grand Rapids, MI.

He has a BA in Art Education from Calvin College (2009) and an MFA in Painting from Northern Illinois University (2012). His visual art is largely representational in nature, with subject matter primarily focused on portraiture and memory. Utilizing vibrant colors and layering he pushes the boundaries of traditional mediums and spectrums to create a style that can be best be described as Illustrative Realism.

He recently won the People’s Choice for the Time Based Category in ArtPrize 2025. He is also the Frontman and Bassist for the punk rock group: The Bloody Pickups.
