We are meeting at the beautiful Leslie Tassell Park right off Cascade Road that would be perfect for plein air.  This small but special park is along the Thornapple River, right beside and below the Cascade Dam.  There is lots of shade, parking on both ends, sculptures and walking paths.  Often someone is fishing off of the bank.  If we meet at 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, the morning time will have some nice lighting and shadows, and it won’t be as warm as the afternoon.  Everyone wouldn’t need to stay the whole time, it would just be a two-hour window.  Bring your plein-air supplies, comfy chair and whatever else you need to be comfortable and come join in!
