Hello Artists!

Our first meeting of 2024 is Thursday, January 18^th 2 pm to 4 pm.

First order of business is Membership Dues of $36.  Perks include artist promotion, support, encouragement, and opportunities to show/display artwork.  Check out our Facebook page and Website.

Our program will be creating art using dried flowers.  Bookmark, note card decoration, ornament.  Most supplies provided, see Bring list.  The perfect project to brighten up a Michigan winter!

Bring:

1. An artwork that you have been working on for Artist’s Choice, our show and tell portion of the meeting.
2. Scissors
3. A junk paint brush for using Mod Podge, size roughly ½ flat.Watercolorists:  DO NOT bring your $200 Kolinsky Sable brush!  Dig out those old kid’s brushes.
4. We will have dried flowers for everyone, but if you have some favorites that you have dried yourself, feel free to bring them.

Be inspired by that wall of blizzard.  See it as a blank canvas crying out for you to add color!  So hunker down and be warmed by the creation of your art this weekend.

Meeting location: Calvary Christian Reformed Church 3500 Byron Center Ave SW Wyoming, MI 49519  Enter through the single door labeled “B”.

See you there! Leslie
