Faye Owens is a Grand Rapids, MI mixed media artist. She earned a living in the insurance industry until Dec 2020 when she retired early to dedicate more time to art and family. She works in a variety of art mediums and photography most often in nature themed art.

She was born in Illinois but moved to Iran with her

family during high school, living there for 2.5 years. Since that time, she has lived in many areas of the United States, and traveled the world, settling in Michigan, which she loves. She recently completed a Michigan nature project for ArtPrize 2024 which included over 100 pieces of Michigan nature art.

She has been part of several exhibits including several ArtPrize and other local art shows.  She has a photo displayed at the Foremost Corporate Office. She has art and photos created during Covid as part of Grand Rapids Public Museum collections. She was also the Featured Artist of the month at Wealthy Street Bakery for July 2023.  In Spring of 2025, she did an artist residency in Lakeside, MI.
