Hello Artists!

Join us for our monthly meeting this Thursday, Jan 15^th from 2pm – 4pm!  Here is what we have in store: ·        Workshop - Building Skin tone and portrait pallets.  See below for what to bring. ·        Annual Membership Dues are due - $36 ·        Postcard show season is heating up – Art In Caledonia Postcard show – see below and attached.

Workshop:  We will explore mixing colors to give us a beautiful skin color for portrait painting.  We will build a sample pallet chart then use it to paint a portrait of our choice.

Bring: ·        Watercolor color paper – a couple sheets. ·        Paints and brushes – Paint colors:

o   Yellows o   Browns o   Lavenders o   Blues o   Reds

• Pencil or pen
• An idea for a portrait.
•     Your annual dues of $36

• One of your artworks for Artist’s Choice

Postcard Show:  The ART IN CALEDONIA Postcard show is coming up in March.  Deadline Feb 28^th. Original art 4”x6”.  For sale $20 each, all proceeds go to the artist.

Meeting location: Calvary Christian Reformed Church 3500 Byron Center Ave SW Wyoming, MI 49519 Enter through the single door labeled “B”. Meetings the 3^rd Thursday of each month (excluding December), 2-4PM.
